Earl Grey Shortbread

Emma Honestly blog
Considering something goes wrong pretty much every time I bake, I'm surprised that two recipes have made it on to my blog already. I had a pretty rubbish day on Sunday, so opted to make something to cheer me up, and settled on earl grey shortbread. I didn't have any lemons in, but I imagine adding the zest to these would give them an extra summin summin. Enjoy!

You'll need
125g butter
55g caster sugar
180g plain flour
2 earl grey teabags

How to
Preheat the oven to 190𐩑C. Beat the butter and sugar together until well combined. Add the flour, and the contents of two earl grey teabags, and mix well until a dough is formed (I used my hands to help this process along). Roll out to 1/2 inch thick, and cut into rounds. Bake on a non stick tray for 15-20 minutes, or until pale golden. Let cool on a wire rack, and enjoy with a cup of tea!

All my love,

Em x
